Why is my roof discolored?
Most roof stains are caused by an algae called Gloeocapsa magma. The algae is airborne and can land on any roof at any time. It usually grows first and fastest on the north facing portions of your home.
Does my roof need to be replaced?
Probably not. Many roofs can have the algae and discoloration removed using our low impact cleaners and treatments, returning them to a newer-looking appearance without damage.
Will my roof be harmed during the cleaning process?
Not at all. Our non-pressure SoftWash application will not cause damage to your roof.
Will the treatment harm the environment?
No. The combination of cleaners that we use and the procedures that we follow assure that there will be no adverse affect on the environment or your plants and landscaping.
How long will my roof stay clean after treatment?
While it depends upon your conditions, most roofs will remain clear of visible stains for several years.
Can I pay with a credit card
Yes. I accept checks or credit cards onsite. If you are not home I can email an invoice that can easily be paid online
Six questions you should always ask before hiring a pressure washing contractor.
1: Is your company Registered and Insured?
A good question to ask before anyone steps onto your property. You may be surprised to find that numerous “contractors” are not registered and do not carry General Liability insurance. Allowing someone to wash your home who does not have these two items could be a big mistake, especially if there is any damage to your home or if someone gets hurt. Professional Contractors have the necessary registration and Insurance, plus they will be willing to provide proof of them when asked. Always ask your contractors to provide this proof before allowing them to clean your home, I will be glad to show you.
2: What is included in the price?
Each roof cleaning, house washing or gutter whitening package is different, so it depends on what you have chosen. A detailed estimate is always provided when inquiring about our non-pressure washing services that describe what you will receive. We have packages starting with basic-standard house washing and expand to a more “inclusive” package that includes house, roof and gutter whitening.
3: How long will the job take?
Your time is extremely valuable so I work around your schedule. Most clients prefer to have their homes cleaned while they work while some prefer to be present for the cleaning process. Either way, we are comfortable with both. The main thing we want to be sure of is that we do not interrupt your schedule while we clean your home. We will work on Saturdays, by request, at no additional charge to you.
4: Can you provide any references?
We have plenty of references from your town, maybe even your neighborhood!
5: Do you belong to any professional associations?
Yes. We are members of the PWRA, which ensures you will enjoy a high quality cleaning experience every time.
6: Is your work guaranteed?
Absolutely! Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. If you are not completely satisfied with the work you receive, we will come back and wash it again.
